Science:  The homework assignment given today is not due until Monday October 10, 2011.  The assignment is to choose a topic -- from our solar system -- and write 10 facts about it.  For tomorrow have your subject chosen so you can start researching.  You'll be able to research Thursday for 15 minutes in books and then on Friday on the internet during computer lab time.  My goal is to have you become an expert on the subject of your choice.  Next week's assignment will be to make a poster to go with your subject.  It will be due on October 27th -- the day of our STAR PARTY111  We'll be sharing your posters and expertise first with your families and then going outside to view the planets and stars through the telescopes that the Salt Lake Astronomical Society are bringing.  See you tomorrow!

Soc. Studies:  Asian Country Quiz tomorrow! For those of you checking the blog, draw a smiley face next to your color on the test and write 5pts! You will get five extra credit points just for checking the blog. Shhh.....keep this a secret.  You are being proactive and taking responsibility for your own education. Way to go!
