Language Arts: Today we corrected DOL Week 4 Sentences #1-10 and collected it.  Memorize: "The Road Not Taken" by Monday, October 17.  Remember to memorize at least one line each day. Practice saying it LOUD, SLOW, and CLEAR and with some EXPRESSION.

Math: We reviewed for your celebration of learning today.  Tomorrow bring your workbook to turn in the assignment, and bring a reading book to class when you finish the test. 

Science:  Heat Review Packet due 10/4.  Study for test on Heat which is on 10/4.  Answers to the Heat Vocabulary Quiz:  conduction:  heat transfer by direct contact of molecules, cooking pancakes; conductor:  allows heat to transfer easily, wire; contraction:  slower colder molecules coming closer together, cold items shrinking; convection:  heat transfer by currents in liquids or gases, hot air balloon; expansion:  faster hotter oledules moving farther apart, hot items enlarging; insulator:  does not allow heat to transfer, oven mitt; radiation:  heat transfer through space in waves, heat from sun.
