Problem (Product): An individual or team of students of no more than four (4) students will create a museum to showcase a topic in the 6th grade core curriculum for Social Studies.
Topics: Ancient World Civilizations (Mesopotamia, Egypt, China, Indus River Valley, Maya, Aztec, Inca, Greece, Rome, Celts, Vikings, Ancient People of Japan, Ancient People of Africa), Middle Ages, Renaissance, 20th Century)
Product is Due May 18, 2012 and is worth 250 points.
Forty (40) points will be subtracted from the project score for each day that it is late.

This is a STUDENT project. (Parents may help with hot glue guns, knives, transportation, etc. but the product must be the work of the student (s).) Please use recycled materials for this project and do not purchase expensive items. This is a CREATIVITY CHALLENGE. Students are challenged to be creative with paper, cardboard, clay, stones, sticks, fabric scraps, and other materials found at home or at school.
